The Final Update!
Hey everyone!
Well, first of all, I want to thank immensely for the tremendous support that this game has received and continues to receive up to now. Every gameplay video posted, every comment, every compliment, and every donation the game received means the world to me, and I can confidently say that each one of you made my Christmas in 2023 one of the best.
I have nothing else to say other than: Thank you so much, truly, for playing. May God infinitely bless each one of you! ^^ <3

Now, moving on to the topic addressed in the title of this post, after New Years, I've been hunting down and fixing bugs, errors, and typos that were lurking in the game the first time I released it. Today, I just published the final update I'm going to make to "The Most Terrible Time Of The Year"!
Here's the list of changes >>>
BUGS, ERRORS, AND TYPOS:
- Fixed a small programming error that prevented a certain scare from appearing in the game. (No spoilers :X)
- Fixed a bug with Alice where she would sometimes get stuck during her path around the Mansion.
- Fixed a bug with Alice where, in rare occasions, she would get the player even after the game ended. (Come on Alice, you're already annoying, that's cheating!)
- Fixed a bug with Krampus where sometimes his crawling sound effect would not play. (Making him WAY harder to deal with)
- Fixed a typo on the game's victory screen.
ADJUSTMENTS:
- Belsnickel was the easiest entity to deal with, you could easily forget about him as he was very slow. Now, Belsnickel is a bit more aggressive than before. (Which made him even scarier)
- Adjusted the lighting for Belsnickel's Jumpscare. (That always bothered me, lol)
- The Player will now appear in a random spot in the Mansion each time the game starts.
ADDITIONS:
- New sound effects added. (Picking up gifts, lighting and blowing out the candle, etc.)
- New Christmas decorations added in the emptier corridors of the Mansion: Cute Stickers! (Just don't stare at them too much because someone might catch you off guard)
- Rendered a new 3D art for the game page. Liked it a lot, found it even cute to counter the game's theme, haha! (I don't know why Alice is holding a plushie, I thought it would be cute. But if you want a specific reason, it's Alice's gift for being the entity that scared players the most XD)
And last but not least: "The Most Terrible Time Of The Year" is now available for ANDROID! It was a bit tricky adapting the game for mobile, but I managed to do it and enjoyed the result a lot! I Recommend having a more modern and superior Android device to play with the least possible lag, as the app in general is a bit heavy.

And that's it! Once again, thank you so, so much to everyone who took some time to play this little Christmas game that I had little time to make, and I'm over the moon that you all liked it!
I have to give credit where it's due: I wouldn't have come anywhere close to finishing this game if it wasn't for Jesus' help because staying 7 hours streaming while I developed the game wasn't easy at all.
Surely, this whole experience has been very meaningful for my GameDev journey, and I'm super excited to show you all the next project that God places in my heart, whatever it may be!
See you soon! ;)
